We all have done this and the reason we do is because we never want to think that my sin is like someone elses sin, especially someone who offended me! What takes place is we often forget how much God has forgiven us, so we do not forgive others. The Bible says that God will NOT forgive you of your sins if you choose not to forgive others! Thats huge, we need to talk about this.

As believers we should always speak truth and that truth will have opportunities to offend some. On the other hand we also have rights as a believer, but should we always push our rights even though it could offend others, only to please our flesh? Well, we could think thats just horrible news until you see the other side of the coin. The Bible says that those who suffer and handle offenses correctly, have set themseves up for a blessing!
